Do You Remember...

Have you ever seen this before? I stole this idea from another blog that I read and I think it's pretty fun. Leave a comment of a memory that you have of me, something of us together or anything else. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember is fine! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. :-)

I remember when it was cool to put a toothbrush in your sock and have it sticking out. You did that a few times when we were at Nana's house. You were always the coolest kid and up to date on the latest fad :)

Oh yeah, and do you remember when I stepped on your arm in the middle of the night in the grandkids cabin and grandpa chewed me out the whole next day for keeping everyone awake? Man I was annoying!

Thanks for the comment...I totally remember hanging out at Dan's and you were soooo cool! I also remember how funny you were too. You alway had friends around you and were the life of the party. Event if it was in the halls of Churchill Jr. High.

do you remember always tickling my feet until they would get 'stuck' or pinning me down and letting your dog lick my face...yuck! oh and the gross wet willy's and your famous steam rollers???? Those are good memories...but I guess I would have to say my favorite is when we sang in the basement to all of our friends 'the jets' songs. we were so cool cause we are related to them! ha ha!

I remember you coming home at night at waking me so you could steam roll me or body slam me, You thought you were so funny. I am not sure how I reacted, I was probably mad. Actually I think that you were always picking on me. Pouring water on my head while I was sleeping or putting snakes in my bed and i still think your a great big brother.

I guess I'll have to tell a highschool memory because that's when we hung out the most. We went and saw some Brad Pitt movie together, I think it was Legends of the Fall or something. Anyway, afterward we were back at my house kissing, and you pulled away and said "what are you thinking about" I said "you" and you said "yeah right! You're thinking about kissing Brad Pitt!" I don't know why, but that memory of you has always stuck in my mind. LOL!

Rob, you know our funniest memory. We were in Cali on the beach and a big wave hit us, and the lady next to us. She turned to us and said something like "that was a big one" and we were like you don't need to tell us that, one of your boobs has flopped out of your bikini, I won't go into details but she was not attractive. We didn't dare say a word, just looked at each other and slowly swam off. I guy had to tell her that something needed to be tucked back in.

Oh ya, one of those Cali trips to the Radisson you found that key to the vending machine. We lived high on the hog that trip.

2 funny times I think about - both involve you and your friends driving around the cove chasing us in our car... one time we thought it was you coming toward us - we flashed our brights, but it was a cop and he pulled me over... the other time I hit a dip in the road so fast and hard that it ripped the oil pan off the bottom of my mom's minivan - we called your dad and he came to my rescue. Man, we were dumb! Fun times!
P.S. Congrats on the new niece - she is beautiful!

I am so glad you found me. Ok I have a lot of memories but here is one that happened over and over again. Training Table, cheese fries, and Dr. pepper! Did I remember right? I think I remember sending Dr. pepper to you in the MTC. Funny times. Your nieces are so cute I bet you are their favorite uncle. How are you?

All of my memories of you make me laugh! Except one... I remember you were over at my condo and telling me that you weren't going to be at our wedding. I just remember how bad you felt and I was so sad because you were such an important part of our lives.

Ok, enough sad...throwing Nikki's cookies in your parking lot (and you never telling her what a bad friend I was).

You as the chastity police when Matt and I were at your appartment.

Watching you play flag football-you were so good!

Your immaculate closet!

The romantic night we spent on the beach in Bali. You were quite the MAN, wow...oh wait, I don't think that was you. Sorry

Well... first and foremost, you were my FIRST kiss. So, I will always remember how nervouse and probably awful I was at kissing. Sorry for that!
I just remember hanging out all the time. Dan's, Village Inn after football games (or was it DEES), you driving my dorky Chevette (but you never really came out and made fun of it!) Football games, watching to see if you were the one scoaring the touchdown. Seriously fun times. Thanks for being you!

Robbie,
I didn't get the chance to tell you, but one of the sweetest, most precious memories I have is with you. Remember that summer we, and all our friends, hung out every night while I was living at Nana's. One night, I was set up on a blind date that I didn't dare get out of, while you and all of our friends went to the drive in movies. I had the most horrific blind date experience of my life and came home crying and fell asleep on Nana's couch. The details of how you found out I had a horrible night are blurry. Maybe I called you from Nana's line, or you called me (back when cell phones weren't around). But you came right over to Nana's, and when I heard you come in the front door, I got up and ran to you. This sounds crazy, but I just threw myself into your arms and we hugged so tight for what seemed like forever. You were my idol, and you comforted me during a time when I had no positive male figure in my life-my Dad had gone crazy and my brother was on a mission.
I know it sounds silly, but I will never forget that moment. I've relived that moment hundreds of times this past week and as long as I live I will never forget that feeling. I felt totally safe with you, and I just absolutely adored you. I wish I could express the feeling of how I felt, and still feel over that moment. Now, this is just one simple memory I have of you. There are thousands more. But this is by far one of my most precious memories I have in my life, and I feel so privileged that I was someone you cared about in your life.
I love you so much. I can't wait to see you again.

Love,

Keri
